Roog 5 Hour Set!
Sunday 21 August is all set to be a special day on the Dutch coast at Bloemendaal. Roog will mark this day with a special set. The event is called "Taste-it! presents Roog 5hr", where he will take you on a very special 5 hour journey through some classic house music. You do not want to miss this one!
Taste-it! events have experienced much success on the beach at Bloemendaal. Top DJs & live artists always guarantee a fantastic vibe throughout many "on the beach editions". The events were formally held at Bloomingdale, but this year take place at the most beautiful club on the Dutch coast: BeachClub FUEL.
The musical journey will see Holland's top house DJ span the entire timeline of his illustrious career. The first few hours will be chance for Roog to dust off some real gems from the past before slowly but surely working towards modern day classics and the sounds of now! Roog will be supported on the day by two vocalists, namely I/fan and Mavis Acquah, and by percussionist Jethro Angkotta. The warmup set will come courtesy of Joshua Walter, and Taste-it! resident Alex Cruz will close the evening in fine style.
There are two separate competitions for die-hard Roog fans. On the Facebook pages: facebook.com/tasteitevents & facebook.com/roogofficial there are four CDs up for grabs. The CDs are from the legendary Sound Of Love And Dedication series which were compiled and mixed by Roog back in 2003 and 2005.
Name your favorite track from the CDs on one of the two Facebook pages to stand a chance of winning 2 tickets for 21 August in Bloemendaal.
In addition to this, there is another competition for real fans: Go to facebook.com/roogofficial and upload an old picture or video clip featuring Roog and you will also have the chance to win 2 tickets.
