I/Fan has steadily developed into an amazingly talented singer / songwriter / MC and his decision to focus on dance music has reaped benefits in recent years. His big breakthrough came with a number of wildly-popular collaborations with Funkerman, including the successful Top 40 Hit 'Speed Up' (a former Dancesmash on Dutch radio station 538). There followed subsequent collaborations with Lucien Foort, Basto!, Nicky Romero, Marcello and Rancido.

On 2 April, I/Fan’s debut solo dance single will come out, entitled 'Shine Out', on N.E.W.S. Records. The track has already been used as the soundtrack for Dutch dance film 'Body Language'. Club DJs have not been forgotten on the package; in addition to the commercial radio single there are also club mixes from the likes of Billy The Klit, Benny Royal & Dani L. Mebius.
