Last year (2010) Benny Royal wanted to do a house remix of a Christmas track. He chose “Driving Home For Christmas”: one of the most famous Christmas records ever made. This unofficial remix received attention from several major radio stations, including 3FM, and was used as a jingle in the TV show RTL Boulevard. After an unsuccessful attempt to clear this as an official remix, the teaser of last year resulted in a modern, remix cover version this year…

This December, Benny Royal is here with THE theme of Christmas 2011: “Driving Home For Christmas”.

The track has already enjoyed some serious airplay on Dutch radio stations 3FM and Q-music, and the club mix has taken the coveted “Tune of the Week” on Dance Tunes. Now available for purchase on iTunes and many more online music stores. The video clip for the track can be found on the Extended Music YouTube channel!
